Perfect Recipes for Weight Loss in the New Year

I try to eat good carbohydrates and avoid sugar as much as possible. The holidays have been difficult. I hope to recover in the New Year. This book has some great low calorie salads and side dishes.
There's also a nice variety of homemade low calorie salad dressings ~ vinaigrettes and restaurant style dressings. Also a great homemade barbecue sauce.
So far I have made the homemade chicken salad which was delicious. I also made the Potato Salad without the potatoes. Cauliflower is one of my favorite vegetables. I use it as a potato substitute but usually with garlic so it becomes garlic mashed potatoes. The Potato Salad Without Potatoes is a really great non-potato potato salad.
Finally I made the barbecue sauce for a roast I made. Excellent!

Just What I Need!

Yes, I must admit I've added a couple of pounds (about 10) over the past few months so Joan's low calorie side dishes are just what I need.
What a refreshing thought - diet food that actually sounds delicious as well as nutritious. Things I love to eat like barbeque sauce and potato salad - Wow!!
If you want to get started right now with better eating habits leading to that body you have in mind, this cookbook is a buy!

Another great cookbook!

After reading another cookbook by this author, I decided to check out her other titles. This one is equally as good. I'm always on the lookout for good low calorie recipes and these look great and tasty. It's great to find some of my favorites (potato salad!) without all of the calories and fat.
