Los cuentos de tradición oral son, y siempre lo han sido, una fuente inagotable de fabulación y maravilla. Así lo demuestra esta bella novela que ya en su tiempo se alimentó de otros relatos más antiguos. Para los que gusten de los cuentos de hadas, esta novela responde a preguntas que muchas veces nos hacemos sobre estas historias ¿y qué pasó antes? ¿Y qué pasó después? Además de que la edición nos brinda otros relatos, anteriores y posteriores en el tiempo, con los que se puede hacer un interesante análisis comparativo.
