Interesting & Creative!

Interesting & Creative!
What a creative world these two authors have created. The element world in this story was very interesting as the Drakaura (Watchtower Lords/Sentinel Dragon shifters) police its own kind - Judge, jury, and executioners; they enforced their own brand of justice on the Element champions. This wasn't a fast paced story but it was so interesting learning about the element shifters and their world of existence and where they originated from. My rating is 3.5 stars but rounding to a 4 star rating.
The story grabs your interest immediately as the sexy Air Element "Erion" finds him uncontrollably attracted to Kenna a glass blower who was about to come into her change and become the element shifter Fire or rather "Fiera". But Erion wasn't the only element attracted to her as his competition "Hayden the fire element" not only wanted her sexually but he wanted to consume her fire by killing her to make himself stronger and more powerful.
The magical erotic scenes between the air element Erion and Kenna is extremely hot, one of the best sex scenes I have read as Erion rams Kenna from behind while she works to create a glass phallus. Once the phallus is made he then takes it and uses it to impale her channel fast and deep as he uses his talented mouth and tongue on her in all the sensitive places a woman loves. To top it off, add the elemental features of their powers to the act and then you have a mystical swirl of fire and air that heats the room up and sparks start flying as the mating ritual begins.
Even though I have given this a 3.5 to 4 star rating, the story has the making of a fantastic series to be written. The ending was a fair happy ending for me but it left a lot of other questions unanswered and left me wanting to know more about the elements world, Ghen the Void, the wizard Siusaidh, Ryalda or Shadows, and Drakauara. Now that I have been introduced to this elemental world I can hardly wait to read the next book to learn more about it.

I love finding something different within the paranormal romance genre, Born into Fire mixes an ancient Elemental race with a race of dragon shifters in this interesting erotic romance. There is also a bit of humor too. I loved the many "blow" puns.
Kenna is a glass blower with a witty sense of humor and she lets it show with some of her many "blow" jokes. Kenna also has no clue that she is different from every other human amongst her. She is approaching her metamorphose and it has called the attention of two other Elementals. One wishes to protect her from harm and see her through her metamorphose. The other wishes to see her through her metamorphose so that he may cause her harm.
Eric has stayed away from female Elementals for many years. He is trying to ensure that he doesn't repeat his past mistakes. Kenna's fire calls to him and his air and he can't help but seek her out. The moment that he sees the other Elemental and discovers his nefarious plans he feels obligated to see her safely through her metamorphose. Eric must protect her from not only the other Elemental but also himself.
The sexual attraction is high, the sex scenes are plentiful and amazingly erotic. I loved the fact that Eric and Kenna could bond sexually outside of their human form. The sex scenes are so hot that they literally melt their surroundings.
I also enjoyed the details about glass blowing as art. The authors put many interesting details about Kenna's art/career in these pages. The details for some of her pieces of art are meticulously detailed. I could almost see some of the pieces as I was reading.
I hope that there will be another book that continues from Born into Fire. I was left with some unanswered questions. There are a couple of large gray areas for me also. I don't want to go into too many details on this because I don't want to let out the spoilers that it would bring to this review.

3.5 stars, very original.

This novella has a lot going for it. One of the best things is that it's Erotica with an actual cohesive storyline!
Kenna is a glass artist that does not realize she is also a young Fire Element, who hasn't metamorphosed into her full power. Eric/Erion is an Air Elemental who is drawn to her awakening power, but is afraid to get too close lest he consume her power. However, another fire elemental has also set his sights on her with the goal of enslaving her nascent talent. How can Erion protect her without being even more dangerous than what he is guarding her against?
The writing is very good, grammatically correct and th authors definitely show you. A lot! But I think the pace is almost too fast; I feel that this could be expanded into a full-length novel very easily. One of the things I absolutely loved is the world-building. It's not often that you find a new, cohesive mythos in any genre, much less paranormal erotica. I feel that the world and background could have been expanded a lot more.
The sex scenes are very hot, without being gross or depraved which can be a problem with a lot of other erotica works. And believe me, when you're playing with a fire element, things can get very hot indeed! I love that the authors did their homework when it came to the background of the heroine and her glassblowing skills.
The authors do leave a few loose ends, ripe for more stories which I'd like to see.
