Continuation of a nicely developing story line

This book picks up where last three pick up. Earth is still trying to recover from various plagues that have killed hundreds of millions to over a billion people. Combine that with the various factions (Eden, Psyco, Normals{a dwindling group} trying to hash out their spheres of influence. Then we add a strong love interest. In this case, Jill (the tough Eden Marine) is in love with Rick, the techno-geek. Rick has been kidnapped and turned into a cyborg shadow. About 1/3rd or so of the book is devoted to the story of finding Rick and bringing him home. It is the strongest of the 'human interest' pieces of the book.
Beyond that the world is trying to build the battleship, has the battle, key players are still working their schemes. One dies, or does he..... (That will be an interesting line in the further books.). The battleship will be staffed by people from many of the countries on the Earth. What type of politics will come out to play? Who ends up in control for the battle with the Meme?

A must read series for Science Fiction fans!

The earth has piled all their resources into fighting the Meme scout ship. I couldn't wait to see how the Orion fared against the Meme. Another one I just couldn't put down! With every book I get more and more absorbed into the series. I got The Orion Plague free for my honest review!

A good read

This is an interesting and fast paced story that is quite well done. The author is definitely at his best when it comes to action sequences and the technical side of the story. Now, if only the Meme could win.
